Salary: £92.58 per day (DOE)

Job Description:
Our client, a leading specialist provider in education, is seeking a dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Hengoed, Caerphilly. This part-time role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about supporting young learners and fostering an inclusive classroom environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the Class Teacher to deliver high-quality support to students within the foundation phase, ensuring a positive and engaging learning experience for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general classroom support to the primary school in Hengoed, Caerphilly.
• Offer individual support to students, helping them achieve their learning goals.
• Assist in creating a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher to plan and implement activities.
• Support the delivery of tailored learning activities for students with diverse needs.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and promote positive interactions among pupils.
• Contribute to the overall organisation and smooth running of the classroom.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children in a primary school setting is desirable.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A caring and patient approach to supporting young learners.
• Flexibility to work part-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
• Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare are advantageous but not essential.
