Job Description:
Are you an experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in the Ystrad Rhondda area? Our client, a leading specialist provider, is seeking passionate professionals to support learners with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). Key Responsibilities:

Support and supervise learners with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
Assist learners at the start and end of the school day
Help prepare classrooms for lessons and support staff in lesson delivery
Work with learners in small groups or on a 1:1 basis, catering to individual needs
Support learners during break times and lunchtime
Engage learners in classroom and out-of-classroom activities
Follow the school’s behaviour management policies to ensure a safe learning environment

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 months experience working with children in schools, nurseries, or childcare settings; SEN experience is advantageous
Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC); assistance available for registration
Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
References covering the last two years (no gaps)
Right to work in the UK
