Job Description:
Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role supporting learners with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)? A leading specialist provider in Wales is seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join a supportive school environment in Church Village, Pontypridd. Key Responsibilities:

Support and supervise learners with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
Assist learners at the start and end of the school day
Help staff prepare classrooms for lessons and activities
Work with learners in small groups or on a 1:1 basis, providing tailored support
Support the delivery of lessons alongside the class teacher
Assist learners during break times and lunchtime
Engage learners in classroom and out-of-classroom activities
Follow the school’s behaviour management policies to ensure a safe and positive environment

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 months experience working with children in schools, nurseries, or childcare settings; SEN experience is advantageous
Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC); support available for registration
Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
References covering the last two years with no gaps
Right to work in the UK
