Our client, a leading primary school in Tir-y-Berth, Hengoed, Caerphilly, is seeking a dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time on a long-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the foundation phase of education, working closely with teachers to nurture and support children's development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general classroom support to teachers within the foundation phase.
• Assist in planning and delivering engaging activities tailored to young learners.
• Support children with their personal, social, and academic development.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with teachers to manage classroom routines and behaviour.
• Support pupils with special educational needs and those requiring additional assistance.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience working with primary-aged children is desirable.
• Knowledge of early years or foundation phase curriculum would be advantageous.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Caring, patient, and proactive attitude.
• Relevant qualifications or early years accreditation is a plus but not essential.
