We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join an established School in the Wirral. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support pupils’ learning and development within a high-performing, outstanding school environment.
The successful candidate will play a vital part in creating an inclusive and positive learning atmosphere for our students.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Teaching Assistant based in the Wirral, your daily duties will include:
- Providing tailored support to pupils, including one-to-one, small group, and whole-class assistance.
- Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons and managing classroom activities.
- Developing positive relationships with students and staff to foster a supportive learning environment.
- Assisting with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Teaching Assistant, you will need:
- NVQ Level 2 in Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working with children in a school setting.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Eligibility to work in the UK and undergo a full enhanced DBS check.
