Daily Pay: From £88.92

Contract Type: Full-time, part-time, or ad hoc supply
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Overview:
Vetro Education is seeking dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Caerphilly and surrounding areas for roles starting in September 2025. These positions offer flexible opportunities, including day-to-day supply, longer-term placements, and roles focused on supporting children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).

This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact in the classroom and contribute to the development and wellbeing of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils, including those with ALN/SEN.

• Assist teachers with lesson preparation, resource adaptation, and classroom organisation.

• Support children with behavioural, emotional, or sensory needs to engage effectively in learning.

• Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.

• Monitor pupil progress and report observations to teaching staff.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 months’ experience supporting children with ALN/SEN.

• Calm, patient, and flexible approach to working with children.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (or willingness to register).

• Right to work in the UK.
