Key Responsibilities:
- Lead shifts and support care staff to ensure high standards of care are maintained
- Create a safe, supportive, and child-centred environment for young people
- Support care planning, record-keeping, and reporting processes
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards
- Promote independence and positive outcomes for young people
- Support the day-to-day running of the children’s home in St Albans, ensuring a stable and nurturing environment
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in residential childcare
- Experience working within an Ofsted-regulated children’s home
- Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People’s Residential Care (required)
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child-centred practice
- Positive, resilient, and committed approach
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
