Job Title: Children’s Residential Care Team Leader
Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire, UK
Salary: £17.10 per hour

A leading specialist provider is seeking a dedicated Children’s Residential Care Team Leader to join their team in St Albans. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead shifts and support care staff to ensure high standards of care are maintained
• Create a safe, supportive, and child-centred environment for young people
• Support care planning, record-keeping, and reporting processes
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards
• Promote independence and positive outcomes for young people
• Support the day-to-day running of the children’s home in St Albans, ensuring a stable and nurturing environment

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience in residential childcare
• Experience working within an Ofsted-regulated children’s home
• Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People’s Residential Care (required)
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child-centred practice
• Positive, resilient, and committed approach
• Full UK driving licence (preferred)
