Salary: £28,490 - £30,050 per annum (based on up to 40 hours/week) + Sleep Allowance £3,150 - £5,250

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and supporting a dedicated team to deliver exceptional care to young people aged 5-18 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Needs (SEMH), Cognition and Learning Needs, and Communication and Interaction Difficulties. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of residential support staff, ensuring high standards of care and safety
- Develop & implement effective care plans tailored to individual needs of children
- Foster a positive, nurturing environment promoting emotional wellbeing
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, safeguarding protocols, and Ofsted regulations
- Support young people's development through engaging activities and educational opportunities
- Maintain accurate records and reports, streamlining documentation using bespoke IT systems
- Participate in staff supervision, training, and continuous professional development
- Manage daily operations on a rotating shift basis, including sleep-ins and handovers
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience working within children’s residential services or similar social care roles
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience within a care setting
- Recognised Level 3 Child Care Qualification (or equivalent); Level 4/5 preferred
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, SEMH, and child development
- Excellent communication and team management skills
- Motivated to support and empower young people in their journey to independence
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins
