Job Title: Team Leader – Children’s Residential Care
Location: Ribchester, Lancashire, UK
Salary: £33,589.92 per annum / £15.38 per hour

Job Description:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to join a children’s residential care home in Ribchester, Lancashire. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional passionate about supporting young people with Autistic Spectrum and complex needs. The Team Leader will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and education, fostering a nurturing environment where children and young people can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of care staff to ensure the delivery of outstanding care and support for children aged 8 to 18 years.
• Implement tailored care plans that promote the development and well-being of each young person.
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and internal policies.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and external professionals.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment that encourages learning and personal growth.
• Support the planning and delivery of educational and recreational activities aligned with individual needs.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in children’s residential care or a similar setting.
• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Knowledge of Ofsted standards and safeguarding procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Relevant qualifications in health and social care or a related field are desirable.
