Job Title: Temporary Level 2 Teaching Assistant (SSA)
Location: Wirral, Merseyside
Hours: Full-time temporary contract (around 40 hours per week)
We’re looking for a committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant (SSA) to support pupils across the classroom and wider provision.
You’ll support teaching and learning by:
- Providing classroom and targeted pupil support (including supporting pupils who face barriers to learning)
- Working alongside the class teacher to deliver learning activities and adapt resources
- Helping to promote positive behaviour and support pupils’ social and emotional wellbeing
- Contributing to an inclusive, safe, and engaging learning environment
What we’re looking for
- Level 2 Supporting Teaching & Learning (or equivalent)
- Experience supporting children within a primary school setting (additional needs/SEND experience is desirable)
- A flexible, energetic, and reliable approach with strong communication skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
