Salary: £14.24 per hour inclusive of holiday pay
Job Description:
Are you an experienced Tenancy Support Worker seeking a new challenge within the social housing sector? We are looking for passionate and motivated individuals to join a leading specialist provider in supporting people facing tenancy difficulties. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact by helping clients achieve independent living through advice, support, and crisis intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored advice and support to clients experiencing tenancy issues
- Develop positive working relationships to facilitate successful resettlement and independence
- Assist clients with financial management, including welfare and housing benefits claims
- Conduct assessments and casework to address social isolation and exclusion
- Liaise with relevant agencies to coordinate support and resources
- Support clients in future planning to ensure sustainable independence
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tenancy Support Worker or in a similar social housing support role
- Knowledge of current welfare and housing benefits
- Ability to develop and maintain effective client relationships
- Full driving licence and access to own vehicle (due to the nature of the support)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Flexibility to adapt to various working hours and environments
