Job Description:
Our client, a leading provider of therapeutic care for young people aged 6 to 21, is seeking dedicated Therapeutic Care Workers to support adolescents in specialist homes located in the peaceful, rural Gloucestershire and Worcestershire border areas. Key Responsibilities:
As a Therapeutic Care Worker based in Rudford, Gloucestershire, your daily duties will include:
- Providing emotional and behavioural support to young people with complex trauma and behavioural difficulties.
- Building trusting relationships and acting as a safe, consistent role model.
- Supporting young people's development through structured activities and therapeutic interventions.
- Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to care planning and reviews.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Therapeutic Care Worker, you will need:
- An empathetic, calm, and reflective approach.
- Strong team-working skills and a commitment to professional growth.
- Experience working with young people in a care or educational setting (desirable).
- Enhanced DBS clearance (company funded).
- Right to work in the UK.
- A full manual driving licence.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Reside within 20 miles of the Gloucestershire head office (preferred).
