Job Description:
Our client, a leading children's charity, is seeking a dedicated Waking Night Residential Support Worker to join their team in Hinckley, Leicestershire. This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive environment, providing vital care and support to vulnerable children and young people in a dedicated residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Building trust and developing nurturing relationships to promote the independence and wellbeing of children and young people.
• Working in partnership with parents, carers, and professionals to support the child's needs.
• Contributing to the upkeep of the home, including cooking, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment.
• Accurately documenting information and ensuring records are kept up to date in line with safeguarding policies.
• Promoting a safe, supportive environment at all times, adhering to safeguarding and health & safety procedures.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or willingness to achieve this within the required timeframe.
• Relevant experience working with children and young people is desirable but not essential, provided you have the right attitude and willingness to learn.
• A good understanding of safeguarding and the protection of vulnerable children and young people.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including sleep-ins, weekends, and bank holidays.
• Motivation to make a positive difference in young people's lives and create a safe, nurturing environment.
