Vetro Recruitment is currently recruiting for Children's Support Workers on full-time, permanent night shifts. You will be working in a specialist service that supports young people with complex needs in our 3-4 bedroom residential homes. These homes provide a nurturing and safe environment, ensuring each young person receives the tailored care and support they deserve.
- Title: Waking Night - Children's Support Worker
- Location: Preston, PR3
- Shifts: 10pm - 8am - 4 shifts a week
- Pay: £13.50-£14.00 per hour
- Must have UK Driving Licence
- Immediate Start Available
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 or 2:1 support to children, including those with challenging behaviours
- Assist with personal care and daily living activities
- Implement and follow individualised care plans to meet the needs of each young person
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the young people at all times
About you:
- Have a passion for working with children with complex needs
- Be patient, empathetic, and resilient in the face of challenging behaviours
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have full UK driving licence
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one)
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Experience supporting children in a similar environment
