Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated Waking Night Support Workers to join our team at a leading educational and care provider in Preston, Lancashire. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support young people with complex needs in a fully integrated residential setting, helping them build confidence, skills, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Waking Night Support Worker based in Preston, your daily duties will include:

  • Providing overnight care and support to young people aged 8 to 18 with Autistic Spectrum and associated complex needs.
  • Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents throughout the night shift.
  • Supporting children and young people with their personal care, routines, and emotional needs.
  • Assisting with behavioural management and implementing tailored care plans.
  • Contributing to a positive, nurturing environment that promotes development and inclusion.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Waking Night Support Worker, you will need:

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Care qualification.
  • A full UK driving licence (essential).
  • Experience working with children or young people in a care or educational setting is desirable but not mandatory.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and protecting vulnerable young people, including undergoing an enhanced DBS check.
  • Flexibility to work on a rota basis, including overnight shifts.
