Location: Caerphilly, South Wales
Salary: £92.59 per day minimum
Employment Type: Full-time - Monday to Friday - 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to support young learners across various schools in Caerphilly. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic educational environment, supporting pupils' development and fostering inclusive learning.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant based in your daily duties will include:
- Supporting teaching and learning across KS3.
- Providing support for pupils, including those with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
- Fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation, classroom management, and pupil assessments.
- Working collaboratively with teachers, pupils, and the wider school community.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant, you will need:
- Fluent Welsh (spoken and written).
- 3 months experience working with children or young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility, proactivity, and willingness to travel across multiple school sites.
Mandatory Compliance:
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
- Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service.
