Job Title: Welsh Teacher

Job Description:
Our client, a leading specialist provider, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Welsh Teacher to join a secondary school in lower RCT. This full-time, long-term role offers an exciting opportunity for a Welsh Teacher to make a positive impact on learners in Key Stage 3 and 4, including GCSE classes. The successful Welsh Teacher will be expected to start immediately and contribute to the school’s success until at least the end of the summer term 2026, with potential for extension into September.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a classroom of learners in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Prepare classrooms for lessons and plan schemes of work where required.
- Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Incorporate classroom and lab-based activities to enhance learning.
- Manage behaviour in accordance with the school’s policies.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of Welsh teaching experience (exceptions for NQTs).
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status or overseas equivalent.
- Registration as a Teacher with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
- References covering the last two years with no gaps.
- Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
- Right to work in the UK.
