Key Responsibilities:
As a Welsh Teacher based in Caerphilly, your daily duties will include:
- Leading a classroom of learners across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Sixth Form
- Preparing classrooms and planning schemes of work aligned with the national curriculum
- Delivering engaging lessons in Welsh, incorporating both classroom and lab-based activities
- Managing behaviour in accordance with school policies
- Marking work and providing feedback to support student progress
- Attending parents' evenings and school events

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Welsh Teacher, you will need:
- At least 1 year of Welsh or relevant teaching experience (exceptions for NQTs)
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status or overseas equivalent
- Registration as a Teacher with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) – assistance available
- Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
- References covering the last two years (no gaps)
- Right to work in the UK
