Key Responsibilities:
As a Primary School Teacher based in Chester, Cheshire, your daily duties will include:

• Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum and school policies.
• Adapting teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of pupils, including those with SEND and EAL.
• Assessing, recording, and reporting on pupil progress to inform future planning and interventions.
• Creating a safe, purposeful, and well-organised classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and high expectations.
• Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development, fostering independence and resilience.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and external professionals to support inclusive learning.
• Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in accordance with KCSIE guidelines.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development and contributing to school improvement initiatives.
• Building positive relationships with parents and carers to support pupil progress.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Primary School Teacher, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum and current educational practices.
• Mandatory compliance with an Enhanced DBS Check and the right to work in the UK.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
