A leading specialist provider is seeking a dedicated Residential Support Worker to join their brand-new Emotional Wellbeing Assessment Home in Hinckley, Leicestershire. This full-time, permanent role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people aged 8-18. As a Residential Support Worker in Hinckley, you will be instrumental in providing short-term placements, fostering trust, and supporting emotional development within a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop nurturing relationships with young people, focusing on their well-being and strengths.
- Work closely with families and other professionals to deliver a holistic support system.
- Contribute to the daily running of the home, including cooking and cleaning, to create a safe and welcoming environment.

Requirements:
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or a commitment to achieving it within a set timeframe.

- A solid understanding of safeguarding procedures for vulnerable children and young people.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins.
- Relevant experience is desirable but not essential; the right attitude and willingness to learn are valued most.
