Job Description:
Our client, a leading organisation in housing and support services, is seeking a dedicated Young Persons Housing Manager to oversee service delivery for young people in Bridgend. Based in Bridgend, Mid Glamorgan, this role involves managing teams to ensure high-quality support for vulnerable young individuals, including those supported through housing-related services.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Young Persons Housing Manager in Bridgend, your daily duties will include:

• Leading and managing teams to deliver high-quality housing support services for young people in Bridgend.
• Overseeing all aspects of service delivery, ensuring compliance with funder requirements and organisational policies.
• Managing referrals, risk assessments, safeguarding procedures, and safety planning to support vulnerable young individuals.
• Building and maintaining effective relationships with statutory and voluntary agencies in Bridgend to promote seamless service delivery.
• Monitoring team caseloads and ensuring timely completion of monitoring statistics and reports.
• Participating in the on-call rota, providing support outside of standard hours when required.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Young Persons Housing Manager in Bridgend, you will need:

• An educational qualification such as a Diploma level or equivalent (QCF Level 2 or 3).
• Proven experience in line management within a support environment, supporting young people with complex needs including mental health, trauma, or substance misuse.
• Knowledge of housing and homelessness issues affecting vulnerable populations in Bridgend.
• Strong communication skills, with experience liaising with partner agencies and supporting team engagement.
• A valid driving licence and access to a car.
