Meet the Education Team

Hi there! I’m Jason, Senior Recruitment Consultant at Vetro Recruitment. I’m delighted to be joining the team, bringing with me over 20 years of experience in primary education, including my recent role as a Deputy Headteacher.

Having spent my career working in schools, I have a genuine understanding of the education sector and the people who make it such a rewarding profession. I know first-hand how important it is to find the right person for the right school, and I’m passionate about using my experience to help schools and educators find that perfect match.

After more than two decades in education, I’m excited to take on a new challenge within recruitment. My experience in school leadership has given me a strong understanding of the qualities, skills and values that make great educators, as well as the importance of building positive and lasting relationships through open, honest communication.

Originally from Liverpool, I now live on the Wirral with my wife. With both of my girls now at university, I’m looking forward to having a little more time to enjoy life outside of work. I love playing tennis, going to the gym and, when I’m not doing either of those, you’ll often find me singing at local jam nights! I’m even considering picking up the guitar again — although we’ll see how that goes!

I’m really looking forward to combining my passion for education with my new career in recruitment, and to helping schools and educators find the right fit.
