The Job:

Your new role could be working with ans supporting elderyly people in the comfort of their own homes and helping them live as indipendantly as possible. The people you would be supporting could have a range of care needs, but it could be anything from offering them emotional support right up to administering medication and helping with mobility. Some personal care will be needed also.

You would be visiting a number of service users homes depending on your rota, and will need to be able to drive as you may be visiting rural areas. Mileage is paid (20p per mile) on top of your salary.

We are looking for people who thrive in a care environment and want to really make a difference in peoples lives. Home carers can be a lifeline for elderly people who live alone or are a long way from family.

Shift patterns and Salery:

£8.50 - £8.90 per hour, dependant on experiance.

40 hours per week maximum.

You will receive shifts a week in advance. Working hours are usually 7am-10pm, but a 24 hour service is offered to clients so you may need to be on call in case of an emergancy.
