I'm currently hiring a Senior Family Support Worker to join a Family Support Assesment provider based in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire. This provider offers independent assessments to children and their families on a placement basis.
Role: Senior Family Support Worker
Location: Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire
Hours: Permanent - 40 hours per week - 10 hour shifts (days only)
Salary: £30,000 - £31,200
Duties of a Senior Family Support Worker;
- Lead within the team of Family Support Workers
- To monitor and observe and keep appropriate written records.
- Provide 1:1 support / advice to parents & children.
- Demonstrate and promote social and interpersonal skills when appropriate.
- Keep appropriate written records.
- Meet agreed targets and objectives.
- Attend Family Reviews /Conferences as required
- Maintain appropriate relationships with Referrers and other Professionals.
Requirements;
- Level 3 in Early Years, Health & Social Care, or related field - ESSENTIAL
- Have the ability to support people with basic parenting and life skills
- Can encourage families to deal with day-to-day issues related to raising children
- Ability to work with a range of professionals to help work towards a positive outcome
