Salary: £26,500 - £38,000 basic salary (Senior Consultant £28,000 - £33,000 / Principal £33,000 - £38,000) + uncapped commission (OTE Year 1 £40k–£55k, Year 2 £55k–£65k, Year 3 >£65k)

Job Description:
We’re seeking a Recruitment Consultant to oversee a busy and growing temp recruitment desk within our Education Division. This Recruitment Consultant role is focused on supplying staff to Primary Schools across Cardiff as an on-framework-approved supplier.

The Recruitment Consultant position is based in Caerphilly and offers a well-established desk with an instant stream of commission. You’ll work a 4-day week but be paid for 5 days full-time, with either a Wednesday or Thursday off each week—ideal if you want a high-performing role without sacrificing work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and grow a busy temp desk within the Education Division as a Recruitment Consultant

• Identify and engage with new Primary Schools across Cardiff to use our services

• Visit education settings to understand requirements and explain how we can support them

• Attract and match professionals to job requirements and ethos

• Advertise roles across job boards, social media, and relevant channels

• Proactively source candidates via referrals, database and social media

• Interview Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Cover Supervisors, and other education professionals

• Build strong relationships to drive repeat business and consistent candidate flow

Requirements:

• Proven track record in agency recruitment (ideally within education) as a Recruitment Consultant or B2B sales experience.

• Confident working in a 360 recruitment environment (client-facing and candidate-focused)

• Driven by a high-reward, commission-led structure and motivated to progress

• Strong communication skills and professional presentation

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to targets in a fast-paced environment

• Team player with a proactive, positive attitude

• Full UK driving licence and access to a car (car driver essential)
