Job Title: Recruitment Consultant / Senior Recruitment Consultant (Permanent Recruitment) – Health & Social Care
Location: Cardiff (office-based) – covering the Midlands (UK)
Job type: Permanent, full-time (34 hours)
Working pattern: 4-day week (work 4 days, paid for 5) – Wednesday or Thursday off weekly
Salary: £26,500–£38,000 basic (DOE)
OTE: Year 1 £35k–£50k | Year 2 £45k–£60k | Year 3 £70k+
About the role
Vetro Recruitment is hiring a Recruitment Consultant or Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our growing Permanent Recruitment Division. This is a warm desk with established client relationships and active demand, giving you strong earning potential from day one.
You’ll deliver permanent recruitment solutions to health, social care and education settings across the Midlands, recruiting roles such as:
- Support Worker / Senior Support Worker
- Deputy Manager
- Registered Manager
- Operational Manager
Key responsibilities
- Build and develop relationships with new and existing clients in Health & Social Care
- Conduct client visits to understand hiring needs and provide recruitment solutions
- Attract and engage suitable candidates using job boards, social media, referrals and our database
- Write and post adverts on job boards, social media and our website
- Proactively source and headhunt candidates
- Interview and assess Support Workers, Managers and other care professionals
- Manage the recruitment process end-to-end, ensuring excellent service and compliance
- Experience in agency recruitment (Recruitment Consultant / Senior Recruitment Consultant) OR strong telephone-based sales experience
- Ambitious, resilient, target-driven and motivated by commission/bonus
- Professional communication and attention to detail
- Process-driven and organised
- Full UK driving licence
- Experienced recruiter looking to move into a high-demand, “recession-resistant” sector
- Strong relationship builder with a consultative approach
