Salary: £120 per day minimum

Secondary Cover Supervisor required for an exciting opportunity in Pontypool, Torfaen. This role offers varied, rewarding days supporting learning across a busy secondary school environment while maintaining excellent classroom standards. You’ll be working with a supportive education team, with client details kept strictly anonymous.

Key Responsibilities
As a Secondary Cover Supervisor based in Pontypool, your daily duties will include:

• Delivering pre-set work across a range of subjects and keeping pupils engaged throughout the lesson
• Maintaining a calm, positive classroom environment and applying behaviour expectations consistently
• Building professional relationships with pupils and staff, and following safeguarding and wellbeing procedures

Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful as a Secondary Cover Supervisor, you will need:

• Experience supervising or leading groups of young people (e.g., education, coaching, youth work, mentoring)
• Strong communication and organisation skills with confident classroom presence
• Enhanced DBS Check (on the Update Service) or willingness to obtain one
