Key Responsibilities
As a English Teacher based in Cardiff, your daily duties will include:
- Delivering engaging English Language and English Literature lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Creating a positive, inclusive classroom culture, using effective behaviour management and clear routines
- Assessing progress, adapting teaching to meet a range of abilities and needs, and providing constructive feedback to support attainment
Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful as a English Teacher, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting (including teaching placements)
- Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to apply) and EWC registration (where applicable)
