Job Description:
Vetro is seeking a dedicated HLTA (Cover and Intervention) to join a team in Liverpool. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support high-quality teaching and learning within a vibrant educational environment, ensuring continuity and excellence in student progress.

Key Responsibilities:
As an HLTA (Cover and Intervention), your daily duties will include:

• Providing planned classroom cover for absent teachers across various subjects within the school.
• Delivering targeted intervention programmes to support pupils’ academic progress and personal development.
• Maintaining high standards of behaviour, engagement, and achievement during lessons.
• Supporting teachers with lesson planning, resource preparation, and assessment activities.
• Contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture that aligns with the school’s Gospel values.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as an HLTA (Cover and Intervention), you will need:

• An NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience working in a secondary school setting, ideally supporting pupils with diverse needs.
• Mandatory compliance with an Enhanced DBS Check.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate young people.
• Good ICT skills to support lesson delivery and administrative tasks.
