Job Description:
Vetro are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant team in Liverpool. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children's learning and development within a nurturing school environment. The successful candidate will work part-time across three days, supporting pupils in Key Stage One.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Learning Support Assistant, your daily duties will include:

• Implementing planned learning activities and programmes in collaboration with teachers.
• Adjusting learning activities based on pupils’ responses to ensure effective learning outcomes.
• Participating in planning and evaluating learning activities, providing feedback on pupil progress and behaviour.
• Monitoring, assessing, and recording pupil progress, and providing feedback to teachers.
• Supporting pupils with special educational needs, including those with MLD, SLD, and autism spectrum needs.
• Arranging and providing resources for lessons and activities under the guidance of the teacher.
• Liaising with staff and providing relevant information about pupils’ progress and needs.
• Supporting the work of volunteers and other Learning Support staff within the classroom.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Learning Support Assistant, you will need:

• A relevant qualification such as NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
• Experience working with children in an educational or care setting.
• Understanding of supporting pupils with special educational needs.
• Mandatory compliance with an Enhanced DBS check.
