Job Description
Vetro are seeking a Resource Provision HLTA to work in a welcoming school in Cheshire. This is a temporary, part-time (mornings) opportunity within a specialist resource provision supporting pupils with communication and interaction needs, in a warm and inclusive primary setting. You’ll play a key role in helping children thrive through structured support, high-quality interactions, and consistent routines.
As well as across Cheshire, Vetro has a range of other job opportunities available across Liverpool and the Wirral, in a variety of settings.
Key Responsibilities
As a Resource Provision HLTA, your daily duties will include:
- Delivering targeted learning and intervention support, adapting plans to meet individual needs and promote progress
- Using visual supports and communication strategies to improve engagement, independence, and emotional wellbeing
- Supporting positive behaviour and maintaining calm, structured routines in line with safeguarding expectations
Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful as a Resource Provision HLTA, you will need:
- Relevant HLTA qualification or Early Years Degree
- Experience supporting children with additional needs (including communication and interaction needs) in a school or similar setting
- Enhanced DBS Check and Right to Work in the UK (plus ability to provide references and proof of qualifications)
