Job Title: Science Teacher (Physics)

Location: Cardiff, South Wales

Salary: £173 per day minimium

Employment Type: Full time - Monday to Friday - 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m

Job Description:
Our client, a leading secondary school in Cardiff, is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join and support their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality science education across all key stages within a supportive and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Science Teacher based in Cardiff, your daily duties will include:

• Delivering engaging lessons in accordance with the Curriculum for Wales, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
• Providing timely and constructive feedback on student work and maintaining accurate records of student progress.
• Managing behaviour positively and consistently, fostering a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
• Communicating effectively with Head of Department regarding student progress and behaviour.
• Participating in departmental meetings, contributing to curriculum development, and supporting school-wide initiatives.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Science Teacher, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching science at Key Stage 3 and 4 in a secondary school setting.
• A understanding of the Curriculum for Wales.
• Mandatory compliance with an Enhanced DBS check and relevant safeguarding training.
