Key Responsibilities:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant based in Liverpool, your daily duties will include:
- Providing tailored support to students with SEN to facilitate their learning and development.
- Assisting teachers in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
- Encouraging independence and confidence among students with diverse needs.
- Supporting students in both classroom activities and additional learning programmes to ensure inclusive participation.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will need:
- A relevant qualification such as NVQ Level 2 or 3, or equivalent.
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN in an educational setting.
- Mandatory compliance with an Enhanced DBS Check and eligibility to work in the UK.
