Job Description:
Vetro are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEND Learning Support Assistants to join a team in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new specialist base dedicated to supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and complex communication and interaction difficulties. As a founding team member, you will work closely with our Specialist Base Teacher to create a nurturing, inclusive environment for our early years and Year 1 learners.

Key Responsibilities:
As a SEND Learning Support Assistant, your daily duties will include:

• Supporting children with ASC and complex needs within a bespoke, sensory-rich environment.
• Assisting the class teacher in delivering personalised learning programmes and behavioural support.
• Contributing to the development of an inclusive culture that promotes positive social and emotional development.
• Helping to maintain a safe, stimulating, and sensory-friendly space that meets individual needs.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a SEND Learning Support Assistant, you will need:

• Relevant experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly ASC.
• A recognised qualification such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, including undergoing an enhanced DBS check.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to supporting young learners.
