Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
As a Teaching Assistant based in Torfaen, your daily duties will include:
- Supporting pupils aged 11-18 with additional learning difficulties.
- Assisting with behaviour management and promoting emotional wellbeing and development.
- Following instructions accurately and contributing to the ongoing development of the school environment.
- Working collaboratively as part of a team to deliver tailored support to pupils with diverse needs.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Teaching Assistant, you will need:
- Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs, particularly cognition and learning difficulties.
- Enthusiasm, reliability, and a conscientious approach to work.
- Ability to embrace change and contribute positively to school development.
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council is required.
- A comprehensive Enhanced DBS check will be undertaken on all successful applicants.
