Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Teaching Assistant to support pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties in Torfaen, Gwent. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant, innovative team committed to making a positive impact on young people's educational experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Teaching Assistant based in Torfaen, your daily duties will include:

• Supporting pupils aged 11-18 with additional learning difficulties.
• Assisting with behaviour management and promoting emotional wellbeing and development.
• Following instructions accurately and contributing to the ongoing development of the school environment.
• Working collaboratively as part of a team to deliver tailored support to pupils with diverse needs.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Teaching Assistant, you will need:

• Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs, particularly cognition and learning difficulties.
• Enthusiasm, reliability, and a conscientious approach to work.
• Ability to embrace change and contribute positively to school development.
• Registration with the Education Workforce Council is required.
• A comprehensive Enhanced DBS check will be undertaken on all successful applicants.
