Salary: £92.59 per day minimum

Employment Type: Full-time - Monday to Friday - 8:30 a.m to 3:30 p.m.

Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive, and caring Teaching Assistant to join our team at a secondary school in Caerphilly. This Teaching Assistant role offers a unique opportunity to support students academically while promoting wellbeing, inclusion, and personal development within a vibrant school environment.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Teaching Assistant based in Caerphilly, your daily duties will include:

• Supporting classroom teachers with learning activities and providing additional assistance to students as needed.
• Promoting a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment during lunch periods, ensuring all students feel valued and engaged.
• Collaborating with staff to develop initiatives that enhance student wellbeing and personal development.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Teaching Assistant, you will need:

• A relevant qualification such as NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
• Experience working with young people in an educational or youth setting.
• Mandatory compliance with an Enhanced DBS Check and a full UK driving licence (if applicable).
