Key Responsibilities:
As a Learning Support Assistant, your daily duties will include:
- Providing classroom support to teachers and pupils, ensuring a positive learning environment.
- Assisting with occasional class cover to maintain continuity of teaching.
- Offering one-to-one support for pupils with special educational needs, helping them achieve their full potential.
- Supporting the school’s inclusive ethos by promoting respect and independence among pupils.
- Contributing to the overall wellbeing and safety of children in line with safeguarding policies.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Learning Support Assistant, you will need:
- A relevant qualification or experience in supporting children’s learning.
- Confident and positive communication skills with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Organisational skills and a caring, enthusiastic approach.
- Eligibility to work in the UK; a full enhanced DBS check will be required.
