Job Description:
Vetro are seeking a dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming team in a school in Cheshire. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support pupils within Key Stage 2, primarily focusing on Year 5 and Year 6 students, helping them access the curriculum and thrive both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Teaching Assistant, your daily duties will include:

• Supporting pupils within Key Stage 2, including providing 1:1 support to Year 5 and Year 6 pupils.
• Assisting in the delivery of tailored learning activities to help children achieve their full potential.
• Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to promote a nurturing environment.
• Supporting children’s wellbeing, personal development, and social skills.
• Contributing to the wider life of the school and participating in school events and activities.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Teaching Assistant, you will need:

• Supportive of the ethos and values promoted within a Christian school setting.
• Experience supporting children within a primary school environment.
• Skilled in supporting individuals and small groups to access the curriculum.
• Organised, patient, and proactive with excellent communication skills.
• Willing to contribute to the school community and support children’s learning and wellbeing.
• Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check and other safeguarding procedures.
