Job Description:
Vetro are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a team in Cheshire as soon as possible. This role involves supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs within a vibrant school environment, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Teaching Assistant, your daily duties will include:

• Supporting pupils with emotional and behavioural needs within classroom settings to promote engagement and learning.
• Assisting teachers with planning and delivering tailored activities to meet individual student needs.
• Providing one-to-one support to pupils across various year groups, particularly in upper Key Stage 2 (Y5 & Y6).
• Contributing to a safe, nurturing environment that encourages pupils’ social and emotional development.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Teaching Assistant, you will need:

• A relevant qualification such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with children, ideally in a school setting.
• Mandatory compliance with an Enhanced DBS check and right to work in the UK.
• Knowledge of Read Write Inc. (RWI) would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.
