Job Description

Vetro are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school team in Cheshire East. This is an opportunity to support pupils’ learning and wellbeing in a nurturing, child-centred environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Teaching Assistant, your daily duties will include:

• Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with additional learning and communication needs
• Delivering targeted interventions to support learning progress and engagement
• Monitoring and reporting on pupil progress, working closely with teachers and the wider support team

Requirements & Qualifications

To be successful as a Teaching Assistant, you will need:

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Supporting Teaching & Learning (or similar)
• Previous experience supporting children, ideally within SEND provision
• Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one) and a strong commitment to safeguarding
