Job Description
Vetro are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work in a school in Cheshire, supporting pupils who require additional help to thrive in the classroom. This role suits someone calm, nurturing, and proactive, with a genuine commitment to helping children overcome barriers to learning within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
As a Teaching Assistant, your daily duties will include:

• Providing targeted 1:1 and small-group support, particularly for pupils needing additional help in the early years
• Supporting the class teacher with learning activities, behaviour support, and classroom routines to maintain a positive learning environment
• Encouraging pupils’ academic progress, confidence, and personal development through patient, consistent, and child-centred support

Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful as a Teaching Assistant, you will need:

• A relevant childcare/education qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ Level 2/3, or equivalent)
• Experience supporting children in a school or early years setting (including SEN/additional needs exposure where possible)
• Enhanced DBS Check (and the ability to provide suitable references)
