Job Description:
Vetro are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a school team in Cheshire. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support children with autism within a nurturing and inclusive environment, contributing to their development and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Teaching Assistant, your daily duties will include:
- Supporting children with autism to access the curriculum and participate fully in classroom activities
- Assisting with behavioural management and implementing personalised learning plans
- Collaborating with teachers and other staff to create a safe and positive learning environment
- Providing emotional and social support to pupils, fostering independence and confidence
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Teaching Assistant, you will need:
- Relevant experience working with children, ideally with autism or special educational needs
- A calm, caring, and motivated approach to supporting pupils
- Essential qualification such as NVQ Level 2 or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory)
- Mandatory compliance with an Enhanced DBS Check and safeguarding procedures
