Job Description:
Vetro are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant Level 2 (SEND) to join a team on the Wirral. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support pupils with special educational needs within a nurturing and inclusive environment. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and contribute to creating a positive learning experience for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Teaching Assistant Level 2 (SEND), your daily duties will include:
- Supporting teaching and learning across multiple subjects, adapting approaches to meet individual pupil needs.
- Assisting in the implementation of personalised learning plans for pupils with SEND.
- Modifying challenging behaviour in a firm but supportive manner to promote positive outcomes.
- Building strong, child-centred relationships to foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborating with teachers and other staff to ensure high standards of behaviour and engagement.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Teaching Assistant Level 2 (SEND), you will need:
- An NVQ Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working with pupils with SEND in a school or similar setting.
- A mandatory Enhanced DBS Check.
- Flexibility and a child-centred approach, with a good sense of humour and adaptability.
