Job Description
Vetro are seeking a Teaching Assistant - Level 2 to support pupils with additional needs in a welcoming primary education setting on the Wirral. This role focuses on providing calm, consistent in-class and small-group support to help children thrive emotionally, socially, and academically, within a values-led team environment.

Key Responsibilities
As a Teaching Assistant - Level 2, your daily duties will include:

• Delivering tailored 1:1 and small-group support, using positive behaviour and regulation strategies to remove barriers to learning
• Supporting targeted interventions (e.g., nurture-style activities, emotional literacy, and skill-building sessions) in collaboration with teaching staff
• Promoting a safe, structured environment by applying clear boundaries, active listening, and restorative approaches that build trust and confidence

Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful as a Teaching Assistant - Level 2, you will need:

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent relevant TA qualification)
• Proven experience supporting children with SEMH/SEND needs in a school or closely related setting
• Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain) and a strong understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality expectations
