Key Responsibilities
As a Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant based in Newport, your daily duties will include:

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support to help pupils meet learning and developmental targets
• Working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging classroom support across key stages
• Supporting outdoor learning activities (including forest school-style sessions) in a safe, encouraging way

Requirements & Qualifications

To succeed as a Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant, you will need:

• Fluency in Welsh to confidently support pupils in a Welsh-medium setting.
• A minimum of 3 months' experience working with children in a school, childcare, or similar environment.
• An Enhanced DBS Check, or a willingness to apply for one.
• A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
